The EBH(Q) medium-hard rock articulated-arm roadheader is a series of multifunctional roadheaders developed by our company specifically for tunneling and mining operations in large, medium, and small mines across China. In medium-hard rock tunnels, this machine can either fully or largely replace conventional drill-and-blast methods, effectively addressing the challenges of tunneling and mining in medium-hard rock tunnels of small to medium size—particularly those previously reliant on drill-and-blast techniques.   The EBH(Q) medium-hard rock articulated-arm roadheader is a series of multi-functional roadheaders developed by our company specifically for tunneling and mining operations in large, medium, and small mines across China. In medium-hard rock tunneling and mining, this machine can either fully or largely replace the conventional drill-and-blast method, effectively addressing the challenges of tunneling and mining in medium-hard rock tunnels of small to medium size that previously relied on drill-and-blast techniques. It is primarily used in mine tunnels, hydraulic engineering projects, national defense projects, and urban integrated utility tunnels.
  This series of articulated boom roadheaders boasts the following performance advantages:
  1. Combining the advantages of combined tunneling machines and bucket loaders, this equipment features a compact size, convenient disassembly and assembly, easy transportation and installation downhole, and is particularly well-suited for tunneling and mining in small- to medium-sized cross-sections.
  2. This type of articulated-arm tunneling machine has the following advantages over conventional single-arm tunneling machines:
  (1) The working mechanism adopts a curved-arm structure, making tunneling and mining faster, more convenient, highly efficient, and offering greater flexibility in movement. It also features auxiliary functions such as loading assistance, roadway repair, and hazard removal.
  (2) It adopts an infinitely variable-speed cutting head with high cutting power, capable of handling medium-hard rock. Moreover, it ensures smooth operation with minimal vibration and boasts a long service life.
  (3) The hydraulic system employs high-performance hydraulic components, ensuring robust internal power. It features load-sensing and pilot-operated controls, as well as a dual cooling system that combines water cooling and air cooling. This design provides flexible operation, high efficiency and energy savings, and allows for extended continuous use.
  (4) The machine is equipped with an imported motor, providing strong driving force and a highly rigid structure. It features flexible and convenient movement, making it suitable for slopes of 25° or less.
  3. The star-wheel loader is driven by a hydraulic motor, ensuring reliable operation and high slag removal efficiency.
  4. The transport trough builds on our company’s scraper conveyor’s advantages, featuring characteristics such as no slag jamming, no chain floating, and high efficiency.
  5. The machine is also equipped with a highly efficient spray-based dust removal and cooling system, which has improved the working environment.
  6. The machine is equipped with an electronically controlled system and can accommodate two power supply modes: 660 V and 1140 V.
