39 companies from the chemical, new energy, new materials, environmental protection, bio- and pharmaceutical, and equipment manufacturing sectors made the list.

　　According to a report from China National Chemical News on March 9, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province issued Document No. [2022]47—“Notice on the Publication of the List of Specialized ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises in Jiangxi Province for 2021”—to the industrial and information technology bureaus (or small and medium-sized enterprise service bureaus) of all prefecture-level cities in the province, as well as to the Economic Development Bureau of the Ganjiang New Area. The document recognizes 64 enterprises, including Jiangxi Yishan Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., as specialized “Little Giant” enterprises in Jiangxi Province for 2021, with a validity period of three years.
　　The Notice points out that, in accordance with the “Measures for the Identification of Specialized ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises in Jiangxi Province” (Gan Gong Xin Gui Zi [2020] No. 3) and the “Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Application for Specialized ‘Little Giant’ Enterprises in Jiangxi Province in 2021,” after being recommended by organizations, reviewed, and publicly announced, the list of specialized ‘Little Giant’ enterprises in Jiangxi Province for 2021 has been finalized and is hereby released. A total of 39 enterprises from the chemical industry, new energy, new materials, chemical environmental protection, activated carbon, new materials for electronics, rare-earth new materials, bio- and pharmaceuticals, and equipment manufacturing sectors have made the list.

　　The “Notice” requires that enterprises that have been recognized further focus on their core businesses, strengthen technological innovation and quality-brand building, adhere to a specialized development path, continuously consolidate and enhance their market position and core competitiveness in the industry, and fully play a leading and exemplary role in the high-quality development of SMEs across the province.
　　The Notice also requires that competent authorities across the province strengthen their management and services for specialized “Little Giant” enterprises within their jurisdictions, integrate resources to provide targeted support, and help these enterprises further enhance their competitiveness and strength. Authorities are urged to guide and supervise the certified specialized “Little Giant” enterprises to comply with the requirements of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology regarding the monitoring of SME operations across the province and the establishment of a regular direct-reporting system for key monitored enterprises. To this end, enterprises should log in to the “Operation Monitoring Support Sub-platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Government Service Platform” and submit relevant data information on a monthly basis. At the same time, based on local conditions, authorities should encourage and assist more enterprises in their jurisdictions to become specialized “Little Giant” enterprises, thereby creating new growth drivers and competitive advantages for regional economic development.
